Our Story
Twenty years of setting the stage
Incorporated in North Carolina in October 2005, Core Staging was founded to provide full-service audio/visual staging and production services, primarily in the eastern and central states, specializing in corporate meetings and events.
Today Core Staging serves companies all over the globe and has expanded its core services to include custom scenic design and fabrication. The company also now maintains a full inventory of breakout and general session equipment.

The golden rule of business
When Core Staging's founder and owner Marty Brooks started out in the business in the '90s as an account executive for a national A/V company, he quickly learned that building personal relationships with clients, and going beyond expectations, brought great results. He saw that if he treated clients the way he would want to be treated, he would always be successful.
That's why our staff feel more like family. And that's why our clients always know they're getting standard-setting service.
He called this “the golden rule of business,” and the same philosophy now guides the company he founded.

Core Staging has a dedicated staff of technicians, tech directors, set designers, support staff and project managers, each with an average of 15 years in the business.
Marty Brooks
Owner & CEO
From account executive for a national A/V production company to technical director and stage manager, Marty draws from hands-on experience in all phases of audio visual production and staging.
Bryan Presnell
Project Manager
An experienced project manager, Bryan handles much of the scheduling and logistics involved in live production events and multi-city shows.
Kaley Click
Project Manager
With an eye for detail and a passion for knowledge and problem-solving, Kaley oversees all phases of planning and production, ensuring no detail is overlooked. Kaley graduated magna cum laude with an Associates Degree in Technology and is a member of the National Technical Honor Society. In her free time she enjoys creative hobbies such as costume design and creative writing.
Sheila Paces
Accounting Manager
With over 15 years of experience, Sheila oversees Core Staging's critical accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking, account reconciliations, expense budgeting, revenue forecasting and vendor and customer relations.
